Responsibilities
- answering telephone calls from clients and directing calls
- taking accurate messages
- assisting with sending out tax packages to clients
- maintaining of client database and details
- assisting with attending to ASIC requirements (training provided)
- diary management using Microsoft Teams
- electronic filing, archiving, photocopying, and scanning
- assisting with lodgment of income tax returns
- welcoming clients into our office
- offering and making refreshments for clients
- general office and administration support
- other administrative tasks as required
Required Skills
- a warm and friendly personality and enjoy supporting the team
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- reliable and excellent time management skills
- be well presented with a mature and confident nature
- a team player that can also work unsupervised and shows initiative.
- high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- be a quick learner who enjoys learning new tasks
- experience in an accounting or professional firm is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
- knowledge of Outlook desired but not essential
