Responsibilities
- An understanding of the SMSF's framework including up-to-date knowledge of Accounting standards applicable to Superannuation Funds.
- Reconcile investments and bank accounts in a timely manner;
- Accurately prepare and review trial balances with supporting workpapers;
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, calculating pension benefits, TBAR requirements and preparing activity statements plus all other compliance matters including relevant minutes in a timely manner;
- Use our latest edge technology to deliver rapid results
- Be proactive in understanding when to identify SMSF strategies including pensions, recontribution plans, minimising tax and maximising opportunities;
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent to relevant on-the-job experience;
- Experience knowledge of Class super software system (preferred, but not essential) or and other SMSF related software;
- 3-5 years experience in the Accounting/Financial Services industry
- Experience providing exceptional service to clients, or willingness and ability to do so.
- The aptitude to embrace and utilise new technologies and systems;
- The urgency to work to targets and deadlines; and
- The motivation to succeed and grow.
